My Last Days in Buenos Aires

My last days in Buenos Aires were spent with good friends! I had a great dinner with my friends Mario, Julio and Edu (pictured) with lots of folkdancing and singing - great fun! I then threw a party, which was nice, despite a lot of missing friends.

Oktoberfest Argentina 2006

I was offered the chance to go to the Argentine Oktoberfest 2006 with a great bunch of Argentines. How could I say no?

The event takes place in a former German settlement in the sierras of Cordoba (province). When I arrived it felt like (my German) home, the Black Forest region of Germany, but by the time we got to the Oktoberfest itself, with everyone walking around with Bavarian hats, wigs, fancy dress and wielding huge beer mugs it felt a bit like toytown!

We had a great time and my new friends (left to right) Federico, Pablo, Lucia and Juan opened up their school-mate circle to let me in, making me feel really welcome and showing me a great time! Thanks guys!!
