Sorry I haven't updated the blog for a while - needed a break from it!
Well click here for some further images of Buenos Aires. (N.B.: If you view the slideshow you won't get to see the descriptions.) They include various parts of town including San Telmo, the ecological reserve between the port and the River Plate, the financial district, etc. There are numerous photos of La Boca, of both the touristy part (the only part tourists are recommended to visit; for safety reasons); which painted in sickly bright colours and full of expensive restaurants and street performers belies the poverty of the district; and of the residential parts surrounding the Boca Juniors football grounds, where our local friend Sebastian took 6 of us to a match, Boca Juniors vs Quilmes. Click here for the video of the crowds 'chanting' abuse to the opponents from the first division. If you look carefully at the members box you'll see the 'Hand of God' waving to 'us' Boca fans!
